2003: Founding of Wood And More with Peter and Markus as partners.
Main business was selling firewood. Hard hand work with axe and small paychecks. We saved most of the earned money for buying tools to start in the cabinet business, where also our roots are.

2004: A shop in one of the barns with small wood working tools and great customers helped us to quit the fire wood business and start with building small furniture.

2005: Expanding the tool inventory allowed us to take on bigger projects in the kitchen, vanity and cabinet market. With the help of awesome suppliers like Border Builder, Wadstein Custom Homes Ltd., Leeza Distribution, Gipman Millwork and Richelieu we are able to offer better quality for a fair price.

2006: Again the tool inventory was growing and with better machines we ensure a better quality of our products. Second CNP Chamber of Commerce Trade show booth with great success. Starting with incorporating our business.

2007: 3rd CNP Chamber of Commerce Trade show. In spring we are now incorporated as Wood and More Ltd. The same people behind he company trying to do our best to build quality cabinets for a fair price. A highlight in this fall was the honour to receive the Business Of The Year Trade 2007 award issued by the Crowsnest Pass Chamber of Commerce.

2008: Our busiest year so far. We were able to work for great customers on some very interesting projects. It was also the year of great changes. Peter decided to retire from the wood business by the end of the year. Peter was a big part in the success of starting up and running the business. Because of his support over the last years we are now able to make a living from our business. Thank you Peter  !!!
With these changes we needed a new partner in the business. Andrea, my wife, now takes this place. Also by the end of 2008, we were able to move into a bigger shop, in our new location in Cowley. From this location we are able to serve the Crowsnest Pass as well as the Pincher Creek area. We will continue to serve our customs to the best of our abilities.

2009: Started the year with finishing the set up in the shop and with the first Staron counter top project. Again a year with interesting jobs ranging from Counter Top, Kitchen , Vanity and other smaller projects. A busy year and confirmation that moving into a bigger location was a great decision. The highlight of the year happened at its very end where we could start on our biggest job ever. We received the work for all of the cabinetry and counter tops at the newly renovated Mountain Side Medical Clinic in Blairmore. This was a busy year and a lot of fun. In 2009 we were able to add an edgebander to our growing inventory of machines and equipment in the shop. What a time saver! A great year thanks to all the support we received from customers and friends.

2010: It was a busy year at the start then slowed down a bit as most of the economy did. A less busy year but still some nice projects for great customers. Thank you all for the support in these more difficult times.

2011: Again not a too busy a year but ups and downs are normal in all industries. Some of the time shifted to my involvement with the Crowsnest Pass Chamber of Commerce and especially working toward a great Trade Show held in Crowsnest Pass in April. The year was just flowing quietly with great customers as highlights. Thank you all!!

2012: It appeared to be another slow year but looking at the books I guess we were busier than I thought! What a great thing to be busy but not feeling it. One big change for 2012 was adding Andrea's AB Bookkeeping Services to Wood and More Ltd. So Andrea is now operating as a Division of Wood and More Ltd. We were able to secure some really nice jobs for great people for the start of 2013. A nice feeling to know that we will be busy in the coming very special year. Thank you to everybody who trusted us to work on their project.

2013: A special year - our 10th Anniversary !!! Wow, is it already 10 years? And look where we are now. From selling firewood to a fully-equipped (almost - I have a wish list) cabinet shop capable of handling small and bigger jobs. One of the highlights will be the Lifestyle Show in the Crowsnest Pass on April the 12th and 13th. To celebrate the 10th anniversary we will be giving away an entire custom-built Kitchen with Counter tops!! We decided to sell Raffle Tickets and all the proceeds will go to the Pincher Creek Humane Society/SPCA. Please visit our Facebook Page for more information on this event. With the 10th Anniversary we decided to do a small facelift and implemented a new logo and new lettering. Our classic tree worked great and we are convinced, people know when they see the tree, this is Wood and More. We hope the new logo will also catch people’s attention and soon will be able to identify us, with the new more modern and fresh logo. We also added the new phone number 403-628-2222 so we can be better reached from both the Crowsnest Pass and Pincher Creek areas.
